"Hopeless Situation or Opportunity?" (July 16, 2013)

Hopeless situation or opportunity?

Eph 3:20-21 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Have you ever prayed for God to resolve something, or supply something, and He answered the prayer in such a manner that you were stunned at what He brought about? He acted on your behalf far above your ability to understand the dynamics and intricacies of the situation!

When God says "exceedingly, abundantly" there has to be something ready to spill out into your life that's far beyond your ability to grasp....something that the Spirit does that has far reaching affects, something that stretches your faith and comprehension so far that you know it can only be God! What may seem like a hopeless situation to you is an opportunity for God to show himself strong to bring about His perfect plan-beyond the limits of human expectations!

Exceedingly abundantly can be restated as "far superior, preeminent, superfluous and advantageous!" And this is possible only to the extent that His power is working in us-as we are submitted and committed to the work of the Spirit in us, He will do it!

1Co 2:9 But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed] AMP

All for the glory of God!!!
